Ben Mitchell began his career as an F-16 avionics technician at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, meticulously maintaining complex aircraft systems under high-pressure timelines. After nearly a decade of service, he brought that same precision and commitment to excellence to locksmithing.
In 2003, Ben relocated to Denver and opened a small locksmith shop on South Colorado Boulevard. Drawing on his military training in diagnostics and rapid repairs, he quickly built a reputation for fast, reliable service. Within five years he had added branches in Utah and Wyoming, and by 2012 he’d launched operations all along the West Coast—California, Oregon, and Washington.
As word spread of his overnight lockout rescues and seamless key-fob programming, demand soared. In 2016 Ben led the company’s first East Coast expansion, opening offices from New York down through Florida. Today, Locksmiths Pros LLC is headquartered in Denver at 2000 South Colorado Boulevard and deploys over 600 technicians across 47 states—ready to serve your automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith needs 24/7.

A former F-16 technician, Ben brings precision, leadership, and a strong customer-first mindset to every part of the business. His vision has expanded the company coast-to-coast, with a focus on fast, reliable service and technician support.
